READ COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING AN EMAIL
IF YOUR QUESTION IS ANSWERED BELOW YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE

All NYC DOE Schools have transitioned to Remote Learning. Therefore, Forest Hills High School is closed through at least 4/20/20.

NOTE - We do not use the NYC Schools Account. We use Pupil Path to communicate with our students and parents. We are unable to provide access codes to NYC Schools Account.

Pupil Path: If you need access to Pupil Path, DO NOT SEND AN EMAIL. The access request form is on the main page of the school website. Pupil path access codes or password resets cannot be given out unless the access request form is completed.

Alumni Records Request: We cannot process any requests until after we reopen. You may still send in your requests. If you need a transcript you can request one through our website. The link is on the main page. Complete the form and mail that along with a money order for $5.00. You must include a copy of a current government issued ID and clear mailing instructions. Be advised that it is NOT possible to replace a lost diploma. You may request a transcript that will show that you graduated. It is best to pick up transcripts during the summer in person. Our records secretary is available Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Emailing Teachers or Other Staff Members: Click on the Teacher/Staff tab next to the rotating pictures. Find the individual teacher you would like to email and click their name. Type your message there and click send. The email will go directly to the teacher you are trying to reach. Direct teacher/staff emails are available under both the Student and Parent tabs on the main page of the school website.

Students Seeking Admission to FHHS: If you are seeking a transfer admission or general admission to Forest Hills High School, you must go to the Office of High School Enrollment in Jamaica Queens. They will determine where you will go to school based on available seats. Forest Hills High School does NOT have the ability to accept students without paperwork from the Office of High School Enrollment. Visit schools.nyc.gov for location information.

Incoming Ninth Graders: If you were accepted to the Class of 2024 of Forest Hills High School, Congratulations! We are excited to meet you and will be planning opportunities for all of us to get acquainted. Due to the current climate of uncertainty in the Spring of 2020, we do not have a calendar of events in place. Please monitor the FHHS website carefully for announcements.
If you were placed on a wait list or did not get into FHHS, this DoE webpage will help you to determine your next steps for High School Admissions. You may also speak to your current school’s guidance staff. Due to the fluid nature of the waitlist process where we cannot predict changes of those moving on to or coming off of the waitlist, we are unable to field questions regarding the likelihood of your son or daughter attaining entry to FHHS.
Please note that the Department of Education, not FHHS, determines where you go to school. The general process is explained in the How Students Get Offers to New York City Public Schools video. A more specific explanation is offered in the Middle and High School Admissions: How Students Get Offers to Screened Schools and the Specialized High Schools video all of which is available under news and announcements on our homepage.
