The ENL department prepares English language learners to effectively use English and academic strategies to become successful lifelong learners. In addition, students are supported to become prepared for higher education and actively participate in academic study in university programs.
The goal of the ENL Program is to provide resources and opportunities to English language learners in order to develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills to a level appropriate for college readiness and to equip them with the academic strategies necessary for successful study in a language and culture that may vary from culture to culture.
