Massachusetts Institute of Technology Trip

Our Science Olympiad team competed in Cambridge, Massachusetts at the MIT Invitational on January 12th. Forest Hills competed against 72 other teams from across America in 25 events in science and engineering. Forest Hills was the only NYC public school in attendance and was proud to represent our great community.

Robotics Team Updates

Congratulations to Cybernetics, Roborangers, and Artificial Intelligence our three robotics teams are advancing to NYC Super Qualifiers.
All three teams will be competing Saturday February 16th at Dalton High School 200 E 87th St, New York, NY 10128
This has been an amazing season and Forest Hills Robotics continues to excel.

New York City Science Olympiad Regional Competition
Saturday February 2nd at Grover Cleveland High School
Good luck to our two Forest Hills Science Olympiad teams
competing against 73 other NYC teams. This is the largest regional
in the USA. There will be 25 events in science and engineering that students
compete to earn a medal on.

Congratulations to our Hackathon Team

to our very first FHHS Hackathon Team, called Protect Earth Coalition
(PEC) for winning the borough-wide Hack League competition! The student
winners are Ricky Lu, Xinyi Mo, Caozimo Chen, and Walid Khan. Their
Coaches are Ms. Chelsea Jia (science teacher) and Ms. Amanda Lee
(math teacher). The team designed a role play game app to promote
recycling. They will be moving on to the city-wide competition at City
Hall in April. Also, special thanks to Mr. Emmanuel Suriel (math teacher) for
assisting the team.
